The .IT registry is now accepting registrants from the following additional countries - Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, The Vatican, and the Republic of San Marino.

AFNIC TLDs now Support IDNs

AFNIC - the official registry of .FR, .RE, .TF, .WF, .PM and .YT - started supporting IDN registrations on July 3, 2012.  The availability of IDN domains extends the types of characters to 67 different types of characters (previously 37) that can be used to compose a domain name label. A complete list of all the new characters can be found on HEXONET's Support WIKI.  Again, IDNs are now available for all six (6) extensions managed by AFNIC.
