.FR BREXIT Eligibility Updates - January 1, 2021
|
|
|
Effective January 1, 2021, UK residents were no longer eligible to register domain names under .FR or any of the other TLDs managed by Afnic and listed in the Naming Charter (.re, .yt,
.pm, .wf, .tf). UK resident who registered a domain name under .FR or another Afnic TLD before January 1, 2021 can:
- Keep the domain name after that date
- Renew it
- Transfer it to an eligible new holder
- Benefit from the forced transfer procedure in the particular cases provided for by the Naming Charter
On February 8th, 2021 HEXONET blocked all registrations/trades/transfers with registrants located in the UK. If a UK resident would like to register a .FR or another Afnic TLD domain name, we offer a trustee service to support.

Update to .JOBS Contact Extensions - March 15, 2021
|
|
|
Contact extensions for .JOBS will no longer be supported as of March 15th, 2021.
X-JOBS-COMPANYURL and X-JOBS-INDUSTRYTYPE extensions will be removed from our system at this time. Please make any necessary changes to your system.
Since December 11th, 2020, the parameters for .JOBS domain registrations are no longer mandatory and are now optional.

ShortDot Updates to Premium List - July 27, 2021
|
|
|
Effective July 27th, 2021, all four-letter and four-number .ICU and .CYOU domain names not previously in a premium name tier are moving.
This means all four-digit domains will become premium domains beginning July 27th, 2021. Once effective, the updates will be reflected via API. Please check your account on July 27th, 2021, to see price updates.
