Notice: Domain Name Backorder Price Changes
On November 12, 2018, pricing for our domain name backordering services (automated registration of domain names as they expire) will be changing. If you use, or are planning to use, our backorder system, please note the below changes that will automatically go into effect on the previously stated date.
New Lower Pricing for Popular Domains
Domains such as .COM, .INFO, .NET and .ORG will be receiving a price reduction on November 12, 2018. You will notice the following changes when backordering these popular domains after that date:
- New low price for a successful single (uncontested) backorder is $19.90 USD
- New low price for acquired backorders going to auction (contested) is $23.88 USD
- Though placing a backorder with HEXONET is free, to process a backorder we require a fully refundable deposit no later than 24 hours before the deletion date of a domain. Please ensure your account balance is funded to cover all pending backorders otherwise some or all backorder requests will not be processed. Deposits are automatically returned to your account balance for failed backorders
New Higher Pricing for ccTLDs and Standard gTLDs
Please see changes below for all country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) and standard generic top-level domains (gTLDs):
- New price for a successful single (uncontested) backorder is starting at $29.00 USD
- Minimum bids for acquired backorders going to auction (contested) start at $34.80 USD
- Though placing a backorder with HEXONET is free, to process a backorder we require a fully refundable deposit no later than 24 hours before the deletion date of a domain. Please ensure your account balance is funded to cover all pending backorders otherwise some or all backorder requests will not be processed. Deposits are automatically returned to your account balance for failed backorders
